關於 SAIL

SAIL stands for the four academies — Skills, Aptitude, Insight, Literacy. Not a nautical reference: an acronym for a set of life skills school rarely formally teaches.

Why SAIL exists

Students with excellent grades can still lack the independent-living skills that adult life runs on: renting, banking, cooking, communication, law, and money.

So this site is not a brochure. It is a continuously updated platform for courses, practical knowledge, alumni experience, and admissions information.

  • Prepare early, and problems stop being emergencies.
  • Learning to look after yourself is the first step of independent living.
  • Real experience helps the next cohort take fewer wrong turns.
  • Turn the things nobody formally taught into a method you can learn.

How the programme runs

SAIL serves students in grades 9–12 through small-group, hands-on workshops built around four core capability modules — cooking and repairs, formal communication, contracts and insurance, credit and financial planning.
